Privacy notice
What personal data this website collects, why, how long it is kept and your rights. Last updated 2 October 2026.
Who I am
CreativeIgniter is the registered business name of Florin Pinta. I'm the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact me about anything on this page at hello@creativeigniter.com or on 085 757 3805. I'm based in Tuam, Co. Galway, Ireland.
What I collect and why
When you send the quote form
Your name, business name, phone number, email address, what you need and your message. I use them only to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to quote for and do the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
When you phone or email me
Your number or email address and what you tell me, for the same reasons.
When you visit the website
Like every website, the server records technical details of each visit (IP address, browser, the page requested, the time) in its logs. These are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted automatically.
Cookies
The website works without any tracking. Google cookies are only used if you allow them, and you can change your mind at any time.
Strictly necessary (always on)
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ci_session | Keeps the quote form working between sending it and the thank-you page. Only set on the contact and thank-you pages. | 2 hours |
csrf_cookie_name | Protects the quote form from forged submissions. | 2 hours |
ci-consent | Remembers your cookie choice. Stored in your browser, never sent to me. | 6 months |
Statistics (only if you allow them)
Google's measurement tools count visits and show which pages people read. Google may set cookies such as _ga for up to two years.
Advertising (only if you allow them)
The Google Ads tag tells me when someone who clicked one of my ads sends a quote request or taps the phone number, so I can see which ads lead to enquiries and improve the campaign. It may set _gcl_au for up to 90 days, and Google may set its own cookies on google.com.
I use Google Consent Mode, which passes your choice to Google with every request. If you withdraw consent, the site deletes Google's cookies on this domain and stops loading Google's tag. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, you still see the choice, but nothing is switched on unless you turn it on yourself.
Who sees your data
Only me. I don't sell or share your details for marketing. Some companies process data for me as part of running the business:
- my website host, which stores the website and the enquiries sent through the form;
- my email provider, which delivers form messages and emails to me;
- Google, only if you allow statistics or advertising cookies.
If any of these process data outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within two years. If you become a client, I keep records of the work and invoices for as long as Irish tax law requires, which is six years.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, object to how I use it, or withdraw your consent to cookies with the cookie button at the bottom left of every page. Email me and I'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
